Yay for summer activities!

Hi hi!
This summer has been super fun and loaded with activities! This has been one the the most exciting and stressful summers I've had.

I went to Seattle Washington around the 4th of July, and it was the first time my significant other Alex had been there. It was a lot of fun but my feet were so tired from trying to show off Seattle in a day xD
We went to the pacific science center, the space needle, the arcade, pikes place market, and the international district all in one day! The next day we went to the zoo and then had to head home. We can't wait to go back though and we are hoping to move closer to that area soon!

Here's some pictures from Uwajimaya, a super cool store in the international district! It had all sorts of candy, snacks, and there was also a book store that was connected to it that had an anime/manga section :)

I hadn't been on the space needle for years, and since then I've become a bit of a coward, so the fact that I was able to sit at the top and admire the view and overcome my fear was an amazing experience .

I also went to a rotating sushi bar for the first time in my life and it was really fun!
I'd love to go back and have it again, because that vegetable tempura roll was amazing ♥︎#♥︎

After we got home from Seattle, a few weeks later we went camping! It wasn't the best camping spot but it was pretty fun, and there was a beautiful creek that we could walk in(although the rocks hurt my feet)

I wish I had pictures from the creek because it was beautiful, and I'd love to go back!:)

This weekend I'm going to the beach my family and some of my moms boyfriends family! It should be fun, even if it's probably going to be to cold to go in the ocean(which is okay because I'm scared of the ocean anyway)

What fun summer activities have you done?

Switching gears a bit ☀︎

So for the longest time I've always tried to blog (because I like sharing things with people) but I feel like I slightly restricted myself by trying to not make it personal. It just wasn't me.
That led me to this idea, since I've been inspired by other bloggers I'm going to start posting on anything I see fit to post, and it might just be text posts sometimes about my thoughts.

I want to have an outlet where I can post my thoughts and feelings, or any random picture I take.
It will be more of a diary of sorts.

Anyway thanks for reading this♥︎

Wet n Wild Megalength and Megavolume mascaras review

Hey Kittens!
So sorry for the long absence!
The end/beginning of a new year is always one of the busiest times for me.
Today I will be doing a quick review on two mascaras I found while wandering through the dollar store.
These are a tad smaller in size then the normal wet n wild mascaras, but they were 1$ so I'm not complaining!(I can never get through a full tube of mascara anyway)

Here are the wands that they have. The Megalength has a plastic wand with short bristles and a wet formula. I was surprised to like this one as much as I did because I normally go for more dry type formula mascara. The Megavolume has a bristle brush type of wand and has a wet formula, but not as wet as the Megalength. I found that it was harder to get the base of my lashes with this mascara for some reason, and that is where I really want most of the volume, but other that that this mascara is good! I prefer the formula of this Megavolume to the Megalength because it isn't as wet.

One the left is my lashes with the Megalength and on the right is the Megavolume.
This is 2 coats of mascara on each eye.
As you can see it wasn't easy for me to get the Megavolume at the base of my lashes.
On my eyes the Megalength looked darker then the Megavolume and the Megavolume looked more natural.

Here is where I layered both mascaras together and I like this look the most. I feel like combined these mascaras make a good pair! :)

Have you tried either of these mascaras?
Whats your favorite drugstore mascara?
