What I got for Christmas! :)

Hey Kittens! :)
Did everyone have a good Christmas?
I know I did. I had a wonderful time spending time with my family and seeing them open their presents.
Me and my girlfriend got my brothers some awesome graphic tshirts involving their favorite video games and we also got them huge World of Warcraft cups.
My brothers and I got my mom a new tea kettle and a new nutcracker.
I loved seeing the looks they had when they opened their gifts from me.
That's my favorite thing about giving gifts on Christmas.

Now to the point of this blog post.
I thought I'd share what I got for Christmas with whoever reads this:)
I love watching videos and reading blog posts about this so I hope no one thinks I'm bragging!

I got a bunch of adorable stuff for Christmas and I am really grateful for everything I got.

First off, do you see that giant pink thing in the back?
Yes, that is a giant unicorn pillow-pet. (or as the tag called it "pillow chum")
My grandma got it for me and I love it so much!
I've slept with it every night since Christmas.
Then there is the piggy calender. Pigs are my favorite animal so I cant wait to see the cute piggys for each month.
Next I got some cute fuzzy socks and a pair of legwarmers. They are so cozy.
I also got some cute little stocking gifts like the colorful tootsie rolls, some movie money, popcorn wrapped in a cute little snowman, a chocolate orange, a little coin purse with hearts on it, and a hello kitty usb hub.
I got some really cute hello kitty stuff like a nail polish set, a lip gloss set, a hot cocoa mug set, and a gumball machine.
I also got some really yummy smelling candles, a target dog with a gift card , and a nail design kit that is really awesome. My mom has one with different designs and I'm excited to try it out :)

The rest of my presents were makeup, which made me super excited!
First off I got a couple La colors palettes which are super cute :)
I also got some elf makeup from my girlfriend :)
I got a few of the dollar lipsticks and a few mineral lipsticks, the HD powder and HD blush in headliner, two all over cover sticks in golden peach and spotlight, a primer and liner sealer, a small brush set, the 100 marbled eyeshadow palette and a 32 palette.
I also received an 88 matte eyeshadow palette and a 66 lip color palette and an eyeshadow brush from bhcosmetics.
Last but not least, my girlfriend surprised me with the vice palette for urban decay!
This is my first urban decay palette and I love it so much already.
I'm so excited to try all this new makeup out and Im so glad I got some stuff to add to my collection :)

If you want me to do any reviews or swatches on any of these products feel free to leave a comment :)
Also you should let me know if you got anything that I got
Now I'm off to bed (its almost 2 AM) so I hope everyone had a lovely Christmas, and happy holidays to you all!<3

Elf Brightening Eyeshadow Quads (swatches and my thoughts!)

Hey Kittens!
Its Kitty Mcfearson here and todays blog post will be about...

Elf Brightening Eyeshadow Quads!

If you know anything about Elf you probably know that a lot of their products are hit or miss.
I enjoy Elf a lot .I own a decent amount of elf products and I'd really like my collection to grow.

The first eyeshadow quad I will be talking about is the eyeshadow quad in Punk funk

The top swatches are without primer and the bottom swatches are with Elfs $1 eyeshadow primer.
This palette has some very nice bright colors and also a white.
The blue color is sheer without primer, but with primer its a beautiful cobalt blue.
The purple is also sheer without primer, but is a nice royal purple that could blend out to a nice lavender.
The pink is very sheer without primer, but it becomes a light magenta shade with primer.
The white is barely visible without primer and with primer is a nice white that would be a good highlight.
Is it possible to say these colors are matte even though they have the tiniest bit of glitter in them?
That's the best way I can describe these shadows.

As you can see from this photo its a very powdery palette but for a dollar what do you expect?
I really like the colors in this palette and they are really good to add as accent color for any look.

The next palette I have is called Butternut.

Again top is without primer and bottom is with Elfs $1 primer.
This palette is nicely pigmented with or without primer and I love this for an everyday eyeshadow look.
All of these colors have a lovely shimmer to them.
The first is a light pale yellowy beige shade that is a nice inner corner color.
The second is a pale orange shade with gold shimmer.
The third is a very dark brown that is almost black with a silvery sparkle to it in certain lighting.
The last brown is a very nice coppery toned brown.

This palette is very powdery but with the pigmentation I cant complain.
This is such a nicely pigmented palette and one of my favorites because of that fact.

The next palette I have is called Rocker

This would make a really cool drastic eyeshadow look.
Again the bottom is with the elf primer and the top is without.
The white is slightly patchy and has pretty large glitter in it.
The second color is a very coppery beige shimmery shade.
The third is a matte purple with a blue undertone.
The last is a very pigmented black with a glossy sheen to it and blue shimmer.

This palette is not nearly as powdery as the other ones but still has a little fallout when applied.
I really like this palette for drastic creases because of the amazing black in it.

The last palette I have to talk about is Hazy Hazel

This palette really emphasizes my light brown eyes and makes the green and gold tones in my eyes pop.
Again bottom is with primer and top is without.
The first color is a nice chocolate brown.
The second is a shimmery yellow toned beige.
The third is a matte dark grey toned purple.
The last color is a brown with olive undertones.

The lightest color in this palette is the only one that seems to be really powdery.
I really like this palette because of how the different tones in it make my eyes look amazing.

Overall I really enjoy these palettes.
They are only $1 which is a major steal!
For a dollar I think these have nice pigmentation but sometimes need a little help with primer.
The one problem I have with these is they have fallout when applied and tend to be powdery.
These palettes come in so many colors and they have so much variety to choose from I cant wait to get my hands on a few more of these :)

So I thank you for sitting through my attempt at explaining my thoughts on these eyeshadows :)
I hope you enjoyed this and possibly enjoyed it enough to stick around for my blog posts to come! :)
Talk to you later Kittens!
xoxo <3
